As a family tradition, each Christmas Eve we gather together, squack out some Christmas songs and read a simple version of the story of Christ's birth. This year we took time to talk about Christ. We had a nice conversation...Lyndee was thankful for for Jesus giving her Mom, brother, and Dad; Daddy was thankful for the gift of repentance; Chance was grateful for many reasons, mostly for the creation...Mommy was grateful for the happiness Christ brings. We want our children to know that Christ is the reason for the season. How lucky we are to have the Savior in our lives. We are grateful for his life, sacrifice and mostly for the opportunity he gives us to be a family forever.
